Discover Life in Brittany
Here, I describe Brittany as I experience it. Not the Brittany of checklists or perfect itineraries, but a Brittany that’s lived in, experienced, and sometimes unpredictable.
This blog was inspired by the Manoir de Kerozet, an old house in the heart of the Finistère countryside that is currently being renovated and is a place of daily life. It is a vibrant, ever-evolving place that welcomes curious travelers, often in search of peace, meaning, and simplicity.

The Kerozet Manor: A Project in Progress
The Manoir de Kerozet did not originate from a traditional tourism project. It grew out of a house that was too big to live in alone, and a simple need: to breathe life into a place rather than let it fall into disuse. When we bought this building, some parts were in ruins, while others were nearly livable. Very quickly, it became clear that this place would never be a static entity. The renovation is taking place in stages, as the seasons change, as we meet new people, and as resources become available. There have been community work projects, impromptu helping hands, and discussions over coffee or by the fireplace.
This blog also tells that story:
